Every trip is continuously tracked via GPS from pickup to drop-off. Our systems monitor routes in real time and flag any unexpected deviations automatically.
Trip sharing
Share your real-time trip status with friends and family. They can follow your route on a live map and see your estimated arrival time, pickup, and destination.
Emergency assistance
In an emergency, use the in-app 000 button to call emergency services immediately.
Rider accountability
Riders register an account with contact details before booking. This helps create accountability on both sides of every trip.

Respect, safety, and accountability
Every person who uses Booma, whether as a rider or driver, is expected to uphold these standards. Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
Treat everyone with respect
Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behaviour of any kind is not tolerated. This includes behaviour based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
Zero tolerance for violence
Physical violence, threats of violence, or intimidation of any form will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform and referral to law enforcement.
No drugs or alcohol
Drivers must never be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Riders under the influence who behave in a disruptive or unsafe manner may be asked to leave the vehicle.
Follow the law
All users must comply with local laws and regulations. This includes wearing seatbelts, not transporting illegal items, and following road rules.
Honest ratings and feedback
Our rating system keeps the community safe. Provide honest, fair ratings after every trip. Manipulation of ratings or retaliatory ratings is not permitted.
